Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
Business Confidence Decreases in December
The Construction Industry Survey reveals that, in November, entrepreneurs' assessment of the sector's performance was superior to that observed in previous years of the survey. Despite a decline in November, utilization of operational capacity remains at an elevated level. In this context, there was a reduction in the sector’s business confidence in December.
