Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
Construction Shows Increased Investment Intentions Driven by Infrastructure Works
In June 2023, the Construction Industry Business Confidence Index (ICEI) revealed an increase in confidence among business owners compared to the previous month. At the same time, the expectation indices for the coming months showed optimism, though less intense and widespread than in May. Due to positive expectations and optimism, the investment intention in the Construction Industry increased, driven by the infrastructure works segment.
