Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
Utilization of operational capacity is high
In October, construction entrepreneurs assessed that the evolution of the level of activity and the number of employees in their companies were more favorable than usual for the month. In addition, the use of operational capacity reflects stronger performance and registered an increase of 3 percentage points, to 70%, the highest percentage for the month since 2013.
