Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
Labor hiring challenges persist as key problem for construction in the 3rd quarter of 2024
In the 3rd quarter of 2024, the difficulty in hiring labor was one of the main problems faced by construction entrepreneurs, along with the high tax load and high interest rates. Despite this, business confidence increased in October 2024, as did expectations on activity level, new developments and services, purchases of inputs and raw materials, and the number of employees.
