Mônica Messenberg holds a degree in Economics and a Master in International Economy from the University of Brasilia (UnB). She serves as Director of Institucional Relations at the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). Prior to joining CNI in 2010, Ms. Mônica Messenberg had worked for 15 years in Planning and Controlling areas, Development, Implementation and Administration of programs for the Brazilian government, where she occupied a high-level position.

Economist with a master's degree in Public Administration - Public Policy (EBAPE / FGV-RJ). He has been with the National Confederation of Industry since 2005 and is currently an executive manager of Environment and Sustainability. Leads agendas for water resources, biodiversity, environmental licensing, forests, solid waste, climate change, sustainable production and consumption, and Sustainable Development Goals. He is CNI’s Executive Secretary of the Thematic Council on Environment and Sustainability and represents the Confederation in other environmental forums.

Economist graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He has master's and doctoral degree in economics from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). He joined the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) in 2011 and, since 2021, has held the position of Superintendent of Industrial Development. His professional career includes: general manager of Investment and Business at the São Paulo Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Competitiveness (Investe SP); Project Manager at the São Paulo Development Secretariat; advisor to the Directorate of Technological and Industrial Policy of the Instituto Pesquisa Tecnológica (IPT); consultant for investment projects and project manager at the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), and advisor to the Secretariat for International Affairs of the Ministry of Planning.
