CNI will carry out, on December 6th, during the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28), in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the "Business Discussion for a Low-Carbon Economy", an event for discussions about low-carbon strategies in the industry with both the Brazilian and foreign business sector, based on the following pillars: energy transition; carbon market; circular economy and forest conservation.

In the meeting, they will approach business and investments opportunities for the industry decarbonization, industry contribution to the emission reduction goals, and relevant subjects of the climate agenda discussed at the COP28. The general goal is to foster an environment for discussion and networking among Brazilian industries and international companies, similar entities and organizations.

The specific goals are the following:

• To discuss the relevant subjects of the climate agenda pertaining to the COP28
   
• To address the business opportunities and investments for the industry decarbonization, and the contribution to the emission reduction goals established in the Paris Agreement
   
• Foster the COP30, to be carried out in Belém, Pará, in 2025
