DBWT - German-Brazilian Economic Meeting – Edition 2023

The most important event for business relationships between Brazil and Germany is coming to Belo Horizonte.

The Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI), the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), with the support of the Micro and Small Business Support Service of Minas Gerais (Sebrae), will hold the meeting on March 13th and 14th, 2023, at MinasCentro.

Business Meetings (registration closed)

During the EEBA, Business Meeting will be held between Brazilian and German companies, on March 14, to promote new business in goods, services, and technologies for the following sectors: urban industry, metallurgy and mechanics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals, rocks, minerals, ICT electronics and education.
 

Belo Horizonte: on the way to becoming the capital of innovation

Belo Horizonte is the capital of Minas Gerais, a state located in the Southeast region of Brazil. It is popularly known by the acronym BH and is the first planned city in the country. With a population of over 2.5 million people.

Belo Horizonte is also the state's main economic center and hosts important national and international companies in its territory, as well as being known for its high concentration of innovation hubs and start-ups.

Minas Gerais has an industrial GDP of R$154.8 billion, which accounts for 11.2% of the national industry. The industry in the state employs 1,148,179 people. With R$571.5 billion, it is the third largest GDP in Brazil, and its 21.4 million inhabitants make it the second most populous state in the country.
